I’m sure you saw this by now, there’s a video going viral of a Alaska Airlines plane heading to Ontario from Portland, where the emergency door flies off mid-flight. Luckily, no one was sitting next to the door and no one died or was seriously injured. There were 177 people on the plane some were sending goodbye text messages, a little boy’s shirt was ripped off. So just an overall scary situation so if you had family or friends on the plane we are glad they are now safe.

There is going to be food distributions in the Hi-Desert this week. The United States Department of Agriculture in collaboration with the Community Action Partnership will be holding the event today from 8:30 a.m until 10:30 a.m. at the Belfield Hall in Landers, along with another one from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 29 Palms Community Pantry & Outreach.
